Biography
Grace Vaughan, M.Ed. is the Assistant Director for the Office of Comprehensive Transition and Postsecondary Education (CTPE) and a doctoral student in the Specialized Education Services Program at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Prior to returning to UNCG to obtain her doctorate, she was a high school Occupational Course of Study (OCS) teacher in a local school district. She began working with the Office of Integrative Community Studies (ICS) in Summer 2024 as a graduate assistant and has worked with students on employment goals and career support. Her current research is centered on the barriers to and facilitators of employment for individuals with autism, self-advocacy, and workplace accommodations. Grace is a two-time graduate of UNCG and has a B.S. and M.Ed. in Specialized Education Services.
