Your stories, culture, and community as Black individuals are rich, multifaceted, and cannot be reduced to statistics. At the OIE office, we strive to foster an environment where you can seek support, share your narratives, and celebrate your heritage. Community Engagement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Student Affairs and the Office of Intercultural Engagement (OIE) are committed to providing Black students multifaceted supports, this is done through Student Focus Programs such as The Black Collective, events throughout the school year, and learning opportunities. In addition to this, there are dedicated Professional and Student staff whose aim is to provide support and events centered around the providing space for Black students on UNCG\u2019s campus.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you enter OIE (located in the Elliot University Center, room 062), we want you to feel welcomed, safe, and seen. Our office is a place not only for you to connect with other students on campus<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Black Collective (TBC) is a dedicated space designed to foster a supportive and vibrant community for all Black students at UNCG. We recognize the unique experiences of Black students and strive to provide a platform for connection, fellowship, personal growth, and academic success.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n
