Unsung Women Heroes of UNCG<\/strong><\/td>March 1 \u2013 March 29<\/td><\/td>Instagram @uncg_oie<\/td>Social media programming \u2014 students, faculty, staff, and community members can nominate an Unsung Woman Hero of UNCG that has impacted their life! There are 5 Fridays in March, so we will feature up to 50 (10 each Friday) women on our social media! Any additional nominations will also be featured in our newsletter<\/td><\/tr>
Spring Career Fair<\/strong><\/td>Feb 28th<\/td>12pm-4pm<\/td>EUC Cone Ballroom<\/td>The WHM committee will join the Spring Career Fair to highlight what professionalism looks like for women \u2013 specifically at UNCG. We will staff the table for blazers and various accessories<\/td><\/tr>
Tabling Kickoff<\/strong><\/td>March 1st<\/td>11am-1pm<\/td>EUC Commons (main hallway)<\/td>Join OIE at our tabling event to kickoff Women\u2019s History Month! We will hand out flowers and we will be advertising our March programs!<\/td><\/tr>

Lamphere is an Associate Professor of Criminal Justice in the Department of Sociology & Criminal Justice at the UNC Pembroke. Her areas of academic interest include corrections, mixed-methods research, sexual violence and victimization, family violence, and cyber and digital-media crimes. Dr. Lamphere is the co-editor of the recently published book titled Survivor Criminology: A Radical Act of Hope. This book focuses on the lived survival experiences of professors and practitioners in the criminal justice field. It examines how their experiences influence them as professionals.<\/td><\/tr>

WHM Astera Tribute<\/strong><\/td>March 15th<\/td>9am-3pm<\/td>Astera Statue on College Ave<\/td>Students will have the opportunity to place their purchased flowers around the base or the crown of the statue. We ask that all prospective student organizations gather around the sculpture in the final hour of the event for pictures, speeches, and celebration<\/td><\/tr>

This hunt also includes modern women such as highlighting UNCG Alumni, current staff\/faculty, and more<\/td><\/tr>
Women\u2019s History Month SCOPE Dialogues<\/strong><\/td>March 26th<\/td>2pm-4pm<\/td>EUC Birch<\/td>OIE\u2019s Kaleidoscope program presents a triple dialogue event for WHM!
